Our hope is that this blog will help us deal with all the issues we'll be facing and keep our friends and family informed as well.

Birthday Party
Sarah and the kids had a little birthday party for me tonight with cake, balloons and presents. Porter helped out at every step of the way; with blowing out candles, playing with the balloons and opening presents.

It’s My Birthday!
OK, it’s my 46th birthday today and, as is all too usual, I’m not feeling too happy about it. Of course, the fact that I’ve been feeling crappy for over a week now may have something to do with it. I dug up a few embarrassing photos to commemorate the event, which are posted below:
I was only a little older than Porter in this picture. That’s my Mom looking on as I tinkle the ivories in an outfit Liberace must have picked out. And what’s with those ears. Sheesh, I don’t ever remember havng ears like that.
This was taken during the family expidition to the North Pole. I don’t know what the big deal was, we just got in the car and drove to upstate New York. No dog sled was needed. Heck, we didn’t even need long pants. Those first explorers who kept getting turned back must have been wussies.
This was taken just before reporting to Cape Canaveral for astronaut training. Unfortunately, I washed out in the first week. Apparently, you had to be an adult to go to the moon. Age discrimination, I say.
