Our hope is that this blog will help us deal with all the issues we'll be facing and keep our friends and family informed as well.

Windy Waiting
It was a little windy today waiting for Porter’s bus, not that Alice seemed to mind. But it did some funny things to her already funny hair.

Let me take this opportunity to wish everybody a Happy Holiday, whether it be Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, Saturnalia, the Winter Solstice (or Yule Sabbat), or some other made-up excuse to celebrate at this time of year.

Another funny hair day for Alice. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of these with her double cowlick.
Her hair seems confused about where it wants to be.

Where’s the Fire?
Last night after the visit to Santa, the kids walked around the mall for a little while. It probably felt good to stretch their legs after being cooped up in the house all day. Naturally, they gravitated toward the fire truck where Alice wrested control of the driver’s seat from Porter.

After Porter jumped ship — er, fire truck — he took a short ride on a rocket ship.
