Airplane 2: the Sequel
After Porter’s enjoyment of the movie Airplane over the last few weeks, I’d been trying to find Airplane 2 for him. After no luck, I ordered it from Amazon and it came on Thursday while Porter was at school. Since Grandpa was feeling poorly and Porter wasn’t going to see him, I figured I’d use the DVD as a special treat for him. Porter was upset that Grandpa wasn’t there when he got off the bus but the movie did the trick like I thought it would. Airplane 2, if you don’t remember, while not nearly as funny as the first, nevertheless has some funny moments. But more importantly, it’s all about the maiden voyage of a passenger space shuttle to the moon! And Porter absolutely loved that aspect of it. Especially when the shuttle crashed into stuff, which happened a few times. But you still can’t call me Shirley.

With baseball season now underway, I thought it would be appropriate to start posting tailgating photos throughout the season, perhaps every other week. I certainly have a lot of them. I can’t really tell when this one was taken. There are some clues, but I’m not sure. Does anybody have a good idea about what year this one is from?
Gianna Update #1
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted any recent pictures of our friends Nikki and Corey’s new baby girl, Gianna, so I thought I’d remedy that today. Here are some new photos of Gianna take over the last few weeks.
After we left T.J.’s house on Sunday, we had a dinner date with Uncle Tuck and Aunt Debbie along with Ryan and Janice. Ryan was our real estate agent and we recommended him to Tuck and Debbie for their house hunt, too. Since they’ve just taken possession of their new place near downtown San Rafael, Ryan invited us all to dinner to celebrate. Unfortunately, Sarah was still working away and couldn’t make it.
