Coming and Going
So Friday, with Porter still at camp, was another solo day for Alice at Montessori. She seems like she’s really been enjoying herself and has none of the separation anxiety Porter did when he was her age now.

Jeans Fashion Plate
It was a little cooler — finally — in Marin on Friday so I put Alice in jeans to go to Montessori. I also chose one of the tops we got for her on our trip to Kauai last month. At first I thought it was a dress but when she wore it before I thought it was way to short so I figured it was a long blouse after all. But after Sarah got home she informed me I had dressed Alice in the latest fashion trend, which according to her is a dress over jeans. I still don’t think it’s a dress and I’m certainly uncomfortable with the idea of following fashion trends, however inadvertently.
