The Pen Is Mightier Than the Fork

Alice also enjoyed a piece of cake. In fact, I think she had more fun eating her cake than Porter did. Of course not content to take the same path as everyone else, she figured out a unique way to blaze her own cake eating trail.
At first, Alice tried the traditional fork.
Then the more basic finger style. “Finger licking good!”
Then it hit her. “The pen!”
“Mmm, that’s a delicious pen-full.”
“I can even get it off my finger with the pen.”
“Yum, this pen thing is great. And if I have anything I want to write down, I’m covered, too.”
“Let’s scoop some more cake onto my pen.”
“That’s it. I’m a convert to pen utensils.“
