Welcome to the Brookston family blog. We'll post updates here on what's going on in our part of the world, and especially with our son, Porter, who has been diagnosed with some form of autism. Our hope is that this blog will help us deal with all the issues we'll be facing and keep our friends and family informed as well.

Comment by ruthanne — September 29, 2005 @ 2:07 pmbut you can’t mail stuff or make costumes with it……one that i saw was in my jane ascher costumes book….take a clear bubble umbrella and a lot of bubble wrap……cut the bubble wrap in long strands ….not too narrow or to wide….and tape in layersso they hang down past the edgeand cover the umbrella ……and if you don.t put it all the way open and just sort of pump it up and down it will look like your jellyfish is swimming………
