It's been a very long time since I've even looked at this page, let alone updated it. I feel I owe you all an explanation, so here goes. It's nothing too exciting, I'm sorry to say. I wish had a more exciting yarn to tell filled with pirates and adventure and rocketships and feats of derring-do. But no, just things here on the home front and especially the work front got crazier and crazier until something had to give. And sad to say, one of those things was all the time I was spending on the scavenger hunt. It was great fun and I'm glad that so many of you really enjoyed it. Thanks a lot to those of you sent me notes asking if everything was okay. They meant a lot to me. I'm fine, the family's fine (I'm fighting with my son's school district but that's another story), and everything else is fine apart from my losing battle with time.

I've been missing the photohunt and kept trying to figure out what to do bring it to closure, when fate stepped in. Jorj, from JorjDotOrg, who was our first season winner and who helped a lot with the rules for the unfinished last season, sent me an e-mail last week asking if I'd mind he ressurected the scavenger hunt. I was elated and now he's ready to start a test season with his new website, Jorj's PhotoHunt.

I just helped with a little testing of the site, and it's leaps and bounds ahead of mine, especially in functionality. I'm going to play along and I hope you'll join us. It will be nice seeing a lot of the same names again week after week and feeling like I know how everybody's doing. It should be great fun.
