The family spent an afternoon at McNeer Beach, a park not to far from our home. As we were walking back to our car, we happened upon this deer standing cautiously behind a tree. As my two-year old daughter pointed and walked over to where he was, he emerged from behind the tree apparently as curious about her as she was him. In fact, he even looked like he was laughing. I snapped a few shots using the zoom lens out at about 10x.
