During a recent trip to the Hawaiian island of Kauai, we visited Kiluea Lighthouse, which is also a haven for birds. This gull was hovering on the top of lighthouse right near the lightning rod in the middle. It was letting the wind keep it there in place, as if it was trying to dock with the lighthouse.
